     William John Connon was born on 11 December 1929 at 6 Putachie Path, Turriff, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of Albert Connon and Jessie Smith. William John Connon was a painter, draughtsman, teacher and art lecturer. William John Connon was a painter, draughtsman and teacher, born in Turriff, Aberdeenshire. He studied at Gray’s school of Art in Aberdeen, his teachers including Ian Fleming and Robert Henderson Blyth. He later taught at that school and lived in Aberdeen. He was a member of SSA, also showing with Aberdeen Art Society and RSA. Scottish Arts Council holds his work.2 William died on 16 June 2022 at Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, at age 92.3,1
