Joseph Mair

     Joseph Mair was born on 12 October 1896 at 58 Church Street, Portsoy, Banffshire, Scotland.¹ He was the son of John Mair and Ann Smith. His family was known by the tee-name of "Shavie". Joseph Mair was a fisherman. He married Margaret Anderson at Portsoy, Banffshire, Scotland, on 10 December 1924.¹ Joseph Mair died on 16 April 1939 at 29 North High Street, Portsoy, Banffshire, Scotland, at age 42.¹
