She married George McInnes Mackison at Glasgow (South), Lanarkshire, Scotland, on 2 October 1964.2,1 As of 2 October 1964, her married name was Sheena Mackison. Sheena died on 10 March 2022 at Westerton Care Home, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland, at age 79.1 She was buried on 24 March 2022 at Craigton Crematorium, Berryknowes Road, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.1
