James Rainie

     James Rainie was born circa 1845. He was the son of Alexander Rainnie and Margaret Milton. James Rainie was also known as James Rainnie. He was a tailor (journeyman.) He married Helen Wood at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 26 July 1871.1 He was the informant for, and present at, Helen Rainie's death at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 23 May 1872.2
