     Cathlene Donaldson Pirie was born on 15 September 1922 at 14 Admiralty Street, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.1 She was the daughter of James Donaldson Pirie and Beatrice Wood. Her family was known by the tee-name of "Skipper". She married James Johnston at Banff, Banffshire, Scotland, in 1950. As of 1950, her married name was Cathlene Donaldson Johnston. Cathlene died on 11 February 2014 at Parklands Care Home, Buckie, Moray, Scotland, at age 91.2 She was buried on 17 February 2014 at Hillhead Cemetery, Portknockie, Moray, Scotland.2
