James Mair was an engineer's craneman. He was a witness at George Wood Mair and Jean Smith's wedding at The Manse, Sandyhill Road, Banff, Banffshire, Scotland, on 30 December 1932.1 He married Annie Boyd Middleton at Greenock East, Renfrewshire, Scotland, in 1944.2 He was the informant for Helen Ann Mair's death at Chalmers Hospital, Banff, Banffshire, Scotland, on 16 December 1957.3,1 James died on 27 December 1970 at Ear, Nose & Throat Hospital, Greenock, Renfrewshire, Scotland, at age 57.4,1
