Alexander Mair

     Alexander Mair was born on 30 December 1873 at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.¹ He was the son of George Mair and Helen Wood. His family was known by the tee-name of "Bo". Alexander Mair was a fisherman, ship rigger and engineer's labourer.
