James Wood was a fisherman. He married Fanny Mair at 142 High Street, Elgin, Moray, Scotland, on 11 December 1924.3
The Buckie and District Directory for 1926 shows that James Wood lived at 1 Station Road, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.4 James died on 6 November 1982 at Seafield Hospital, Buckie, Moray, Scotland, at age 84.5
