     Francis Slater was born on 11 December 1921.1 He was the son of Francis William Slater and Helen Wood. His family was known by the tee-name of "Hasser". He married Annie Slater.1 He was the informant for, and present at, Helen Slater's death at 11 High Street, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 21 February 1953.2,1 He was the informant for Francis William Slater's death at 26 Cornhill Road, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, on 16 April 1958.3,1 Francis Slater died on 24 April 1996 at age 74.1
